Resource Spotlight – Commissioning Streaming On-Demand

We are making it easier for everyone to understand commissioning.

Everyone – whether it be in government or in the community and health sector – can now access the ‘Commissioning in the ACT’ induction training module.

The module is a handy 30-minute tool (you can even skip the parts you already know) to develop an understanding of commissioning – why we do it, where it came from, who is involved and what the cycle seeks to achieve.

It is part of a growing suite of tools, training, and resources we are developing in partnership with the community and health sector peak organisations – and we are grateful for the collective wisdom in shaping these resources and making them meaningful for everyone involved in commissioning.

If you are a frontline worker in a community or health service, a policy maker, program designer, contract manager, an executive in government or the chief executive officer of a non-government organisation – we encourage you to check it out or weave it into your business-as-usual training.

Sector access to the ‘Commissioning in the ACT’ induction training module can be found here: https://www.communityservices.act.gov.au/commissioning/resources/Commissioning-induction

Government access to the ‘Commissioning in the ACT’ induction training module is available through the ACT Government learning system (HRIMS). Just search ‘commissioning’ and add the eLearn to your training activities.

Complementary to the new induction training module is the Sector – Commissioning Checklist which outlines how non-government organisations can prepare, contribute and participate in the commissioning cycle.

But wait, there’s more….
