Sector Sustainability update

Thank you to all the community and health sector organisations that responded to the recent expression of interest process.

We will soon partner with the host organisation who will employ a worker to co-lead the Sector Sustainability Program commissioning process with the Community Services Directorate over the next 18 months.

Together – sector and government will commission to understand how and where the Sector Sustainability Program funding needs to be directed.

The first stage will identify how we can ensure funding reflects real costs of services, and better understand the impact of increased demand.

The co-led commissioning process is part of the ACT Government’s response to sector sustainability challenges identified in the ACTCOSS and Government funded report: Counting the Cost : Sustainable funding for the ACT community services sector
