DESIGN | ACTHD is finalising 18-month contract extensions for mental health sector partners to support continuation of the Mental Health commissioning cycle. Agreements will now expire on 31 December 2025. ACTHD anticipates that this extension will allow for a more considered approach in the lead up to, and during, the investment phase of commissioning, ensuring that there is sufficient time for a phased approach to market and for proper transition periods between services where required. Public consultation on the Child, Youth and Family Services Program draft Strategic Investment Plan closed on 4 April 2024. The final Children, Young People and Family Services Program Strategic Investment Plan will be released in mid-2024. |

INVEST | The Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drugs (ATOD) Grant opportunities have closed. - It is anticipated that preferred and non-preferred respondents for the Early Childhood Education and Care grant opportunity will be notified shortly.
- Assessment of applications for the ATOD Treatment Support and Harm reduction Core Services grant round is in-train, and it is anticipated that notifications to preferred and non-preferred respondents will occur in early June 2024.
Contract negotiations for the Primary Health Services for Young People (PHYSP) grant opportunity is underway and ACTHD will update the sector shortly with information about the successful provider/s. The PHSYP grant seeks to invest in the health and wellbeing of young Canberrans and the PHSYP subsector through models of care focused on young people. Contract negotiations with Sexually Transmissible Infections and Blood Borne Viruses (STIBBV) preferred respondents is continuing and ACTHD anticipates formal notification on the grant outcomes shortly. Our Homelessness and Housing subsector is continuing with their staged investment approach and CSD anticipates the sub-sector to be nearly fully commissioned and in delivery this year. |

DELIVER | The Community Assistance and Temporary supports (CATS) Program providers are just past 6-months into their new service delivery. ACTHD is working closely with service providers, through a CATS Steering Committee to support service and sector development. |
