Community Central Referral Service commissioning underway


A central service that effectively refers people who need support (or frontline workers) to the services, supports or programs they need – that is the focus of a commissioning cycle now underway.

It is a service with the potential to benefit multiple community service programs including Homelessness and Child, Youth and Families Support Services (CYFSP), and child protection (CPS) sectors.

We are now in DISCOVER, looking at referral experiences, functions of a central referral service and examining the needs of different programs/service and clients.

We have identified and documented what we already know and what we need to explore in the draft Community Central Referral Service Discovery, and we invite you to review and provide your feedback by 1 September.
