The Audrey Fagan Board Traineeship program. It is aimed at supporting women in the ACT to develop the skills and capabilities to participate in ACT Boards and Committees. It combines a series of workshops on the fundamentals of board membership, and an associated mentoring program. Each trainee is paired with a mentor who is an existing member of a board, the trainee also has the opportunity to be a non-participant observer in board meetings.
Applications for 2019 programs are now open. Applications for trainees and expressions of interest for mentors and boards close on 3 April 2019. Further information on the program and details on how to apply can be found on the Diversity Register at www.diversityregister.act.gov.au.

The Audrey Fagan Directorship program was delivered in partnership with the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) in 2018. Through this program a series of workshops are delivered to local women who are seeking to advance their careers as Directors of public, private and community sector boards.
