The Family Safety Hub involves people with lived experience, government, community service providers and the private sector. The Hub is about creating lasting change for the community, so the community sector is encouraged to get involved.
The ACT’s first full-time Coordinator-General for Family Safety, Jo Wood, oversees the work of the Family Safety Hub. She is supported in this work by the Safer Families team in the Community Services Directorate.
We are establishing an Expert Advisory Committee with representatives from the community sector, philanthropic sector, innovation sector, government, and someone with lived experience of domestic and family violence.
