Ministerial Advisory Council on Women
We give advice to the ACT Government about policies that affect women, girls and gender diverse people.
What we do
We provide a link between the Minister for Women and women, girls and gender diverse people in the ACT community.
We help the government develop and implement policies that are relevant to women, girls and gender diverse people in the ACT.
Our work reflects the focus areas of the Third Action Plan of the of the ACT Women’s Plan [PDF 16.4 MB], which include:
- health and wellbeing
- safety and inclusion
- leadership and workforce participation
- housing and homelessness
- appropriate and accessible services.
