Life’s Reflections is an amateur photographic competition and exhibition run by the ACT Office for Veterans and Seniors. The competition promotes positive ageing, healthy and active lifestyles, and intergenerational relationships through photography. The 2017 theme ‘What Do You Love?’ encourages photographs that promote the best that Canberra has to offer.
The information submitted by competition entrants on the Entry Form is personal information and will be stored, used and disclosed in accordance with the requirements of the Privacy Act 1988 (Commonwealth).
The Office for Veterans and Seniors collects information from the Entry Form for the purposes of conducting the competition and exhibition and awarding prizes; promoting this and future Life’s Reflections Photographic Competitions; promoting future initiatives, programs or competitions by the ACT Government relating to positive ageing, healthy and active lifestyles, the importance of intergenerational relationships and Canberra: Age-Friendly City.
The Office for Veterans and Seniors will disclose an entrant’s name to the public if their photographic image/s receives an award or are selected to appear in the Life’s Reflections Photographic Exhibition or other exhibitions.
How to Enter
Entry is free and open to all ACT residents and those residing within sixty kilometres of the ACT border.
Submit a 2MB JPEG digital image and Entry Form to Life’s Reflections Photographic Competition at firstname.lastname@example.org by 5.00pm, 25 July 2017.
All entries will receive an acknowledgement of receipt.
